View Instagram posts without logging in
Instagram limits how much of a profile you can see before it asks you to sign in. The post viewer shows the grid of a public account, newest first, and loads older posts as you go. Every post opens in full size with its caption, date, like count and number of comments.
How to use the Instagram post viewer
- Enter the usernameType the username of a public account above and press View profile.
- Open a postCarousel posts are marked in the grid. Swipe through their photos or use the arrows and dots, just like on Instagram.
- Download what you needThe download icon saves the photo or video that is currently on screen, including single slides of a carousel.
What you can see on each post
- The full image or video, never cropped to a square.
- All slides of carousel posts, with a counter and dots.
- The caption, the posting date and the like and comment counts.
- Previous and next buttons to move through the profile without going back to the grid.
Why browse posts anonymously?
Liking or opening a post by accident is easy in the app, and Instagram uses everything you look at to shape your feed and suggestions. Browsing a profile here keeps your own account out of it: no likes by mistake, no "suggested for you" afterwards and no login wall after a few posts.
- Look through a shop's or artist's portfolio before you contact them.
- Read event posts, menus or announcements of local accounts.
- Review competitors' posts and engagement for marketing research.
Save photos from posts
Every photo and video in a post can be downloaded in the largest size Instagram provides. If you already have the link of a single post, the Instagram photo downloader opens it directly.
Frequently asked questions
Can I read the comments of a post?
The post viewer shows how many comments a post has, but not the comment texts themselves.
Why can I not see the like count of some posts?
Account owners can hide like and view counts on Instagram. When they do, the counts are hidden here as well.
Will the account owner know I looked at their posts?
No. Instagram does not report who views posts, and InstaAnonViewer never uses your Instagram account.
Can I view posts from a private profile?
No. Only posts from public profiles can be viewed. For private profiles you can still see the profile picture in full size.
