How to watch Instagram stories anonymously

Why use an anonymous story viewer?
Instagram shows every story owner a list of the accounts that watched it. That is fine most of the time, but sometimes you simply want to check a story without leaving a trace or without signing in at all. What the story viewer shows
You see every story the account currently has live: photos, videos and the time each one was posted. A progress bar shows where you are in the sequence, just like on Instagram. Stories disappear from Instagram after 24 hours; if you are looking for older stories, try the Instagram highlights viewer, because many accounts save their best stories as highlights.
Only public accounts can be viewed. Stories of private accounts are visible exclusively to approved followers, and no website can change that.
How Instagram's story viewer list works
Every time a logged-in account opens a story, Instagram adds that account to the story's viewer list. The owner can open the list for 48 hours after posting and sees the names in an order that Instagram calculates from how the accounts interact, not simply in the order they watched. Business and creator accounts also see the total number of views in their insights.
An anonymous story viewer is never part of that list, because there is no logged-in account of yours behind the request. The story is fetched by our server, and the owner's statistics may at most count an anonymous request, never a name.
