What are Instagram highlights?
Highlights are collections of past stories that an account pins to its profile, shown as small circles below the bio. Unlike regular stories, which vanish after 24 hours, highlights stay on the profile until the owner removes them. Brands use them for products and FAQs, creators for trips and behind-the-scenes moments.

Why highlights are worth a look
Highlights are an account's own selection of its best stories, so they often say more about it than its latest posts. Restaurants keep their menus there, shops their size guides and reviews, travellers their trips and creators their behind-the-scenes clips. Because highlights never expire, they are also the only place where older stories can still be seen.

Does Instagram show who viewed a highlight?
Yes, but only partly. While a story is younger than 48 hours, its owner can see who watched it, including views that came through a highlight. After that, Instagram shows only the total number of views to business and creator accounts. Viewing highlights here never adds your name, whatever their age. Does the owner see that I watched a highlight?
Highlight viewers are tracked through logged-in Instagram accounts. InstaAnonViewer never uses your account, so your name is not added to any viewer list.
Can I see highlights of a private account?
No. Highlights of private accounts are only visible to approved followers. Only public profiles can be viewed.
Why is a highlight empty or missing?
The owner may have deleted the stories inside it, archived the highlight or changed the account to private. Some highlights also contain media that Instagram no longer serves.
Can I download stories from highlights?
Yes. Open a story inside the highlight and use the download icon. Please respect the creator and do not repost their content without permission.
Do I need to sign up or install anything?
No. The highlights viewer is free, runs in your browser and needs no Instagram account.
How many highlights can I see?
All highlights that a public account shows on its profile, with every story inside them.
